Grímur is a happy kid, his parents love him and he enjoys his lighthearted childhood. His passion is drawing and painting. Nobody senses that he unknowledgeable has the gift to foretell the future through his drawings.
His happy childhood ends abruptly when his whole family dies in a tragic snowslide accident. Little Grímur did fore- see the catastrophy in his paintings but could not interpret it. He could have saved the life of his family and blames himself for their death.
Now, 30 years later, he lives isolated from the outside world in an apartment and totally closed his mind to life. Only by a travel back in time he can free himself from the feelings of guilt and his trauma and open again for a life in the here and now.
